I was planning to publish an app on the Google Workspace Marketplace that allows you to track and collate all emails mentioning a recurring subscription service in one place.
Several people, including myself, struggle to put together their expenditures, and one of the reasons is the lack of availability of details in one single place, either physical or digital. The only option remains digging through your bank statements, which is gut-wrenchingly boring and difficult.
I created this add-on to scan all your emails and put together all the emails it thinks refer to a recurring subscription service in one spreadsheet. Take all the time in the world to go through that spreadsheet while getting some degree of control over your finances.
Publishing to the Google Workspace Marketplace requires paying Google developers a substantial amount of money for them to review and validate your app’s code. It’s not a prohibitively large sum of money, but huge enough to not justify spending on a hobby app.
